Leon leads on delivering high-level strategic advice, insight and planning for SPI’s global client base.  With extensive knowledge of screen sector strategy, Leon has overseen the creation and development of successful policy and funding mechanisms in a wide range of markets.  This includes multiple projects that intersect with screen tourism, such as a screen tourism measurement and strategy project for Tourism NI in Northern Ireland, an assessment of screen tourism for Creative England in association with VisitEngland, and a project to maximise screen tourism for Barcelona City Council’s Culture Institute (ICUB).

Prior to joining SPI in 2013, Leon was a film business journalist and editor for 15 years. He is a member of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA).
